I came across textile hardening figurative sculpture quite by accident. Each piece I create is handmade, meaning no two pieces will ever be identical. The fabric hardener I use is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, and all the materials are sourced from local charity shops. I have now taken over the kitchen in my home in North Devon, much to the annoyance of my family to create my sculptures and as a new self-taught sculptor I am looking forward to creating more unique designs in the future. My pieces can be created for either the inside or outside environment dependant of the method used.
