Sea Dream

I live in rural West Devon and my garden and the surrounding countryside, Dartmoor and the coast are areas of my life that I really enjoy and take inspiration from. I am fascinated by the natural world and all these things have an influence on me. I am a walker and a collector, I love finding natural objects on my walks and they often find their way into one of my still life pictures. I am drawn to anything decorative and I love colour, texture, pattern and naive forms. Everyday domestic objects such as cups, jugs and bowls are also a source of joy, I love their shapes and like placing things together creating real and imagined settings. The works this year are pochoir mono prints.
