Dancer on Dartmoor

Sylvette David, later Lydia Corbet, first met Pablo Picasso in the 1950s and her presence brought a new and positive phase to his work, becoming the model for the 'Sylvette' series of sixty works of art. An artist in her own right, Lydia's work has its roots in her relationship with Picasso and in her background among the artist communities in the South of France.
